Monitoring Performance
Monitoring Student Performance Student performance may be monitored in a number of ways including the use of grade center color codes, Performance Dashboard and the Retention Center. Color Codes Color codes apply background and text color to items in the grade center meeting the instructor’s specific criteria and provide a visual alert to students who are performing above or below a predetermined level. Note: This shows up on the instructor’s view only, not in the student view. Set Up Color Codes 1. Access Grading Color Codes from the Manage menu on the Full Grade Center. 2. Enable grading color codes by checking the box. Select color coding options for grading status (in progress, needs grading and exempt) and grade ranges as desired. 3. Click Add Criteria. In the example below, the criteria is set to change cell background color to red for grades in the 0-69% range.
