Smart Views
Smart Views What you select under Smart Views will show up under the Grade Center link in the Control Panel. Needs Grading is a quick way to access just those items that need grading eliminating the need to scroll through the Grade Center looking for the Needs Grading icon. Remember the items need to be categorized for them to appear in the smart view. See “Grade Center” > ”Grade Center Organization” for information on creating categories. The default smart views include: Assignments Blogs Discussion Boards Final Grade View: Displays all columns, including the default total and weighted total columns Journals Preview of My Grades: Displays all columns visible to students Self and Peer Assessments Tests Wikis (when the tool is available and a wiki has been created How to Set Smart Views 1. From the Full Grade Center click Manage then Smart Views. 2. Select Add as Favorite to add the smart view to the Grade Center menu in the Control Panel. This example shows Assignments and Tests added as favorites on the Smart Views screen and how those smart views will appear on the Grade Center menu.
