Online Learning Community

Overview/Purpose

This module will be an introduction to online course development and the importance of creating a community of learners. You will be introduced to concepts on why it is important to start creating a community of learners right away in an online class. An introduction to the necessary types of interactions needed for any delivery method will be shared. Exploration of the difference between synchronous and asynchronous communication and how these types of communication can help promote a community of learning in your online class will be reviewed.
