Effective presentation skills are researched and practiced in multiple classes Different types of writing skills are practiced: research reports, marketing plans, social media content within their own website's blog posts Q9 - How many graduates are able to apply mathematical concepts? 5 Q10 - Provide any comments you have on the application of mathematical concepts taught in this program. Math concepts are taught and practiced in the core courses of Marketing Research and Marketing Financials Q11 - How many graduates are able to transfer social and natural science theories into practical applications? 5 Q12 - Provide any comments you have on transferring social and natural science theories into practical applications, and how it is taught in this program. Marketing looks at how people interact together in several courses Q13 - How many graduates are able to use critical thinking skills? 5 Q14 - Provide any comments you have on critical thinking skills taught in this program. Critical Thinking skills are practiced in most of the 2nd year courses. Group-work is essential within the marketing couorses Q19 - How many graduates are able to make decisions that incorporate the importance of sustainability? 5 Q20 - Provide any comments you have on how incorporating the importance of sustainability in the decisions one makes is taught in this program. Ethical marketing/product decisions, Green marketing, societal marketing are discussed in several courses Q22 - How many graduates are able to develop strategies to anticipate and satisfy market needs? 5 Q23 - Provide any comments you have about teaching this program outcome. All courses use this concept Q24 - How many graduates are able to promote products, services, images, and/or ideas to achieve a desired outcome? 5 Q25 - Provide any comments you have about teaching this program outcome. Marketing Principles, Promotion Principles, Digital Marketing (Social Media Strategies) to name a few focus on these concepts Q26 - How many graduates are able to evaluate information through the market research process to make business decisions? 5 Q27 - Provide any comments you have about teaching this program outcome. Besides the Marketing Research course that covers this topic in-depth, Digital Marketing (Social Media Strategies) and Marketing Management intensively use marketing information to make decisions. B2B is covered in Selling Principles and B2C is covered in Retail Sales Management Q31 - Consider this class of graduating students, what was most challenging for the faculty in your program? Regular Attendance and being prepared for classes (reading materials and applying effort in assignments). Note: this is becoming more and more challenging with each new group of students.
