1. What did you like about this program?

I enjoyed that this program went very quickly and that everything was accelerated.
I liked that this program is kind of tied to the Surg. Tech. Program, and the fact that it is a good
base if you want to move onto Surg. Tech. later.
I like that it is focused and fast-paced.
I liked that this program is very hands on. It is easier to learn instruments when you can put
them in your hands.
I like that the program length is short. I like the small class size. I like they way tests are set up
for the most part. I liked how the instrument tests are set up. I like that the theory part is over in
the first half. I like the instructors way's of teaching.
It's a fast program to take. Nice class size. Good instructors.
I liked the length. It worked into my work schedule. The instructors were great and very helpful.

2. What would you change about this program?

I would possibly change having less clinicals.
Maybe the Quality Customer Service class I would direct more towards Central Service. It
doesn't really apply to this program at all...
I would either do away with the "Quality Customer Service" class or I would have it more job
specific.
More in class time with the instruments and their usage. Just to have a better understanding of
the instruments.
The most important thing that should be changed setting up the instrument tests in a different
room so people can come in anytime even if there is a class and study. I think for some tests it
would be nice to have maybe a work sheet that would highlight some of the key factors on tests.
With the powerpoint's that you must use to study they're over a 100 slides long. I do have to say
that they teachers did point out the important parts of the powerpoint thought. Having all
clinical's be 4 hours would be best as well.
The Quality Customer Service requirement.
It would be nice if there was some kind of finacial ais available even though this is such a short
program.

When being asked for an instrument the person asking may not be saying the name right or
may call it a different name. It is a benefit to be able to ask the right questions to help them get
the right instruments.

Thought it was a great experience.
This was a great program with great instructors and now I am able to take what I have learned
and continue on in the health care field.
It was overall a very enjoyable experience.
I strongly advise if someone is going to Surgical Technician that they take this course. All
thought this course should be covered more with financial aid.
Very good instructors.
