It give me lots of experiences of being a role of a Para. It teach me so many techniques that I will need to know and will hlep me in my future. The instructors is very flexiable and understanding. This program have helped me so much. Great program I thought that the Instructor's were great, and really brought the information across to us in many ways. I also loved how we got so much experience in 2 years. I loved the program, but sadly that it is going to be freeze for a long time. I really wish it was still be here at western with three wonderful instructors, whom showed their passion, learning experience, provide great field training (practicumn1-3), and learning materials/lesson plans. All my three instructiors has show me a new path to my journey throughout the years and it is a great loss for this program and them. Not even one instructor says that my scores matters, what matters most the knowledge I gain out from the program and classes. Loved this program so much that I would like to recommanded many educators to take this program for a head-start into the education systems/world. I like that our program students get along and cooperate with each othere very well. Our teachers provide us with the information we will need in real life situations in the classroom. Our teachers also make the classes fun! First of all, I love my caring teachers that will always help and do their best to be flexible. After that, I love the practicum experience that I've had to learn and going somewhere new is always different and that will build on my knowledge and skills. I found this program exciting and vibrant and I am going to walk away with knowledge that I can use in a school setting and st home! All the instructors were very helpful and had great attitudes which helped me learn better! I really enjoyed being able to work with the students one on one. Having the field experience is extremely useful. Shelly Bauer and Patty Fellows are amazing instructors and none of this would have been possible without them! the field experiences I really enjoyed this program very much. There were a ton of opportunities for me to experience what my field of choice was going to be like. I was able to express myself in many different manners that benifited my learning. I like how this program was offered online and in person. I would not have been able to sucessfully complete the program without this option. Page 1 of 6 Outcome What would you change about this program? I really wouldn't change a thing about this program. Every class I had has helped me on so many levels. I feel so prepared to go begin my career in a school setting. The only thing that I would change would be to make the Supporting Students with Disabilities class a 16 week class. I feel that we learned a lot in the 8 weeks, but maybe we could have gone more indepth with some of the topics if we would have had more time. Supporting students with diabilities needs to be a 16 week class. I like having the 3 practicums, so I prefer to have it stay this way, but I know that next year it will only be 2 practicums. I like to take advantage of working at different schools. 2 practicum is not enough. Nothing! I enjoyed it a lot. I hope it reaches more people in the future. I don't think that this program shouldn't be change. I like the way is it. nothing I would change the portofolio section of the course. I would have the students start their portofolio at the beginning of the program instead of waiting to complete it at the end of the program. Otherwise the program was awesome! There is nothing to change in this program because I had gain all the new information. This program meet what it is to be expected the outcome, what needs to be understands, and field training. 0 Yes Yes There was always very open communication between the students and staff.
