2. What would you change about this program?
Text Response
I wouldn't change anything about the program
More interaction with 1st and 2nd year students and possibly with UW-L OTR program.
Nothing.
I would focus a lot more on treatment planning and ADL sessions. These are HUGE
components of fieldwork and practice so I think a little more time should be given to these
topics.
the instructors
Books were an expensive part of my experience and I feel that there were some books that
weren't used effectively.
Getting help from the teachers when I ask for it throughout the program. At all times they
weren't able to sit down and help me when I needed.
Returning work in a timely manner

Text Response
I struggled with this through many semesters, however my instructors continued to give me
constructive feedback and the more i practiced the more proficient i became. I now feel
competent with my critical thinking skills.
Taking a example diagnosis and having to plan of a treatment "on the spot" helped facilitate our
critical thinking skills as if we were out on the job.
What we did helped but since we completed mostly when we were at FW it was hard to get help
when needed and would have been nice to complete more assignments that help with this area.

29. CONCLUSION - Please use this space to share any other
feedback, comments, or suggestions about your experience
at Western Technical College.
Text Response
I enjoy the smaller campus size along with the smaller class sizes!!
I enjoyed my time here as a student, wished I would have started my college experience here
initially. I would highly recommended this college to any future students.
Parking around the Health Science Center was difficult due to limited space. It was also
noticed that at the Health Science Center many of the staff were not always dressed
professionally.
Thanks for a wonderful education
The teachers are very dedicated and resources are readily available for students.
