OVERALL EXPERIENCE
1. What did you like about this program?
Text Response
I liked that our schedules are all set up for us. The teachers are awesome.
The program was very hands on which benefits my learning. Everything that we learned
throughout the program was very educational.
Learning material that I'm interested in and everybody that I got to work with to make it through
these last two years.
The instructors made it fun for everyone
I feel everything about the program was great to make me ready for the clinicals and taking my
board exam.
One on one time with teachers, lots of lab time, sma
The instructors were fun while still teaching effectivley.
Lots of hands on practice
Loved the instructors. they were very educated and always helpful and supportive. I liked
I like the instructors and I liked the classes that were taught. I learned a lot in 2 years of school.
The instructors were phenomenal and go above and beyond what is required of them. The
content is fast, intense but inclusive and covers the necessities of what is seen in real life.
I really enjoyed having so much hands on experience prior to going out to my clinicals. Ortho
and Neuro, although difficult, were very interesting classes and really helped tie a lot pieces
together for me in this program.
I liked the massage unit...
PTA program has great supportive staff
Everything, awesome essencial experience.
good instruction. one on one with teachers
every thing was good a great experience
Amazing staff and rewarding career
I felt liek the instructors wanted me to succede, and were willing to work outside of the norm but
within the framework of hte rules
I liked that it truly prepared us for work in the clinic. I also liked that the teachers get along and
are consistent in their teaching

2. What would you change about this program?
Text Response
I would want a pathology class.
n/a
N/A
N/A
If some how there could be a little more time
try to have it not so rushed.
Schedule practicals on seperate days
Adding a summer class to spread out the information
Spread out the practicals so that we don't have practicals back tp back
If possible add in clinical experience or perhaps have real life patients come in to show new
scars/wounds/injuries/ROM deficits etc.
I do not think Technical Reporting helped me be successful in this program.
Make it longer to have more time to cover material.
General education classes for PTA program to be more oriented to the medical field.
need more time to learn the material
add guest wound and or amputee patients or add visits to a clinic to interact with this
demographics
more space between to internships
more attention to dealing with the truly acute and low functioning patient
Too much information and too little time. Too much pressure in practicals. Teachers said that
we will feel the same pressure in the clinic, but that wasn't true.

Text Response
I think getting clinical experience improved my communication with patients and PTs.
Talking in people, and keeping the conversation going
n/a
I am able to communicate with patients and other healthcare personel effectively and
professionally.
This is hard to teach but having people break out of their comfort zones helps.
I feel that Jeff, Scott, and Shari prepared for being an open communicator with my clinical
instructors and PT's during my internships. I feel that having the open communication really
made my internships go smoothly.
Interpersonal skills
buzz phrases for documentation would be nice, as well as thigns to avoid
I appreciated that our instructors were specific with their medical terminology and pushed us to
be specific too.

I enjoyed it!
This program is amazing which is entirely due to the staff/instructors that compose it.
I really loved my experience in the WTC PTA program. The instructors were great and each had
a different style of teaching that was conducive to my learning experience. I really grew close
with all of my classmates as well.
Great experience...
