Section - General Overview of Program Instructions Provided To Respondents We appreciate your feedback, comments and suggestions. The information you provide will strengthen our program. Thank you. 1. What did you like about this program? I enjoyed the teachers and the way classes were arranged. (0000000539 Anonymous) I feel like I gained a great deal of experience necessary to be an effective radiographer. The amount of time we recieved as well as the variety of medical facilities that we are able to go to for clinicals were very valuable. (0000000541 Anonymous) I love radiography! I truly found out that this is the career that is perfect for me! Great teachers who know their stuff. (0000000543 Anonymous) It was very well taught. (0000000384 Anonymous) Its very hands on learning (0000000544 Anonymous) Knowledgeable Program Teachers. (0000000599 Anonymous) Overall, the material taught throughout the program was very thorough, and all the information provided were really valuable during clinical. (0000000538 Anonymous) That we get to go out to clinical already in approx. week five. (0000000540 Anonymous) the education i got from it (0000000542 Anonymous) The schedule was flexible. (0000000749 Anonymous) 2. What would you change about this program? I would change the some of the clinical sites. Some of the places we go don't have much going on and are not worth our time or money driving there to see one patient. (0000000384 Anonymous) Instead of rotating clinical sites every two weeks, it would be nice to extend the time spent at a rotation site to three weeks. (0000000538 Anonymous) Lower the required Math class to Basic Math not College Math (0000000599 Anonymous) Not having summer clinical after graduation. (0000000540 Anonymous) nothing (0000000542 Anonymous) 5/20/2013 3 Some classes tend to be too long having 3-4 hour periods. It would be nice if they could be broke up into 2 hour classes (0000000539 Anonymous) There was a lot of clinical. By the end of the fourth semester I dreaded going to clinical every day because I was no longer learning anything new. (0000000749 Anonymous) There was alot of instructor turn around during my time here. I am sure this was only a one time occurance but I had a total of 4 different professors for a 2 professor program. Hold on to the two you have now (they are awesome at what they do!). Section - Conclusion Instructions Provided To Respondents Please use this space to share any other feedback, comments, or suggestions about your experience at Western Technical College. 29. Comments Change the College Math class to Basic Math, it would be a requirement that would help the Radiography program to give the students some more study time for program classes, which will still produce a mathematically sound student and give students more time to get program classwork done. The fact that the pathology class is only 1 credit is an absolute laugh. It should be at least worth 2 credits. If you wanted, you could spend nearly 3 or more credits of time studying for the amount of information in that class. (0000000599 Anonymous) I am thankful for the education that I have received at WTC in the Radiography program! Thanks to the teachers! (0000000543 Anonymous) I enjoyed my time at Western Technical College and feel like I have gained valuable knowledge that I will use in the future. Thank you very much! Special thanks to my Professors. (0000000541 Anonymous) I feel like I got a GREAT education from my teachers! They are full of good information and did a good job at teaching us what they know (0000000542 Anonymous) I feel that some of the instructors did not respond to me emails and were hard to get ahold of. I feel that responding to emails is part of their job and it is not acceptable to have to wait over a week for a response or to not get any response at all. I would recommend trying alternate learning styles besides reading off a powerpoint. Anyone can read a powerpoint presentation, I do not need to sit in a classroom for 3 hours so someone else can read a powerpoint to me. If all teachers are going to do is read powerpoints than post them online and cut down on classroom hours needed. (0000000749 Anonymous) 5/20/2013 6 Overall I think this program was great. There were moments I did not like it but we had 4 different teachers that were either new, retiring, or leaving. I feel like that was challenging having to be the first class of a new teacher that is still learning to teach. (0000000384 Anonymous) Tricia was a great deal of help throughout the program. This program has given me a great start in my career. (0000000539 Anonymous)
